MUSU Manchester - restaurant design by SO Design Associates

We're thrilled to share our Musu Manchester project that we're particularly proud of at S+O Associates - a stunning sushi restaurant in Manchester that blends the beauty of traditional Japanese aesthetics with cutting-edge technology. Inspired by Zen aesthetics and Japanese craft, our team set out to create a space that would take diners on a sensory journey unlike any other. Let's explore Musu Manchester.
From the outset, we were focused on using modern technology to enhance the experience of diners in the space. Large LED screens were incorporated to create bespoke visual graphics that could change the atmosphere of the space, transporting diners to different parts of the world with the touch of a button. The restaurant also serves as a late-night lounge, featuring world-class DJs that draw in a diverse and sophisticated crowd.

To bring this project to life, we utilized the latest in construction technology, including BIM (Building Information Model) and point cloud scanning. We worked closely with manufacturers to ensure that every detail, from the lighting to the furniture, was perfectly executed. The result is a space that is as functional as it is visually stunning, and one that has become a hit on the Manchester dining scene.

As restaurant and interior designers, we take great pride in creating spaces that leave a lasting impression on our clients and their customers. This project, in particular, holds a special place in our hearts as it allowed us to bring our passion for design to our hometown.
